My day started with an easy pickup from my hostel.

After a short drive, we went to the office near Hohematte Park.
This is where you check in, use the restroom, and safely store any bags or even large luggage you might have.
Next, we boarded the red bus again for a scenic drive up the mountain to Beatenberg.
The views on the way up were almost as good as the flight itself.
Once we reached the launch site, we quickly geared up with helmets and jackets (they provide them if it’s chilly).

Taking off from the grass field and immediately soaring into the air was one of the most exhilarating moments of my life.

The company picks up guests from specific locations within Interlaken, including Interlaken West/Ost stations and several hostels (Balmers', Backpackers', Youth hostel).
My pickup point was near Interlaken West station, which was super easy to find.
Once you land after the flight, you end up right in the middle of Interlaken central park (Hohematte).
From here, it’s a short walk of about 10 minutes to either Interlaken West or East station, so getting back to your accommodation is hassle-free.
The office where you leave your belongings is also located near Hohematte Park, right where you land, making it convenient to grab your stuff before continuing your day.
Insider Tips & Preparations
Pack light and wear comfortable clothes.
Even if it's warm on the ground, it gets chilly high up in the air, so bring layers.
A light windbreaker is good, but they provide jumpers and helmets.
Make sure to bring some cash or a card (40 CHF) if you want to purchase the photos and videos of your flight.
They download the files immediately to your phone on the spot.
I highly recommend getting the photos; trust me, you won't want to forget this experience, and selfies just don't capture the scale of the view.
If you're prone to motion sickness, take medicine beforehand!
The instructor can do gentle spins or a calm flight, so make sure to communicate your preference before takeoff.
