Once we soaked in all that grandeur, we took a serene boat ride from Si Phraya Pier, which offered a fresh perspective of the city from the Chao Phraya River, arriving at Assumption Cathedral. When we went, there were a lot of Chinese tour groups, so it was pretty crowded, but we just followed our guide and learned so much about the history of the Grand Palace.
Talat Noi isn't a huge area, so after we got our guide's cafe recommendation, we spent some time there until the tour ended.
Our guide even told us Chinatown was only about a 10-minute walk away, so we spontaneously explored Chinatown afterward, haha!
